Job Title: Senior Data Analyst

Job Summary:
The Senior Data Analyst will be a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong technical capabilities in SQL and Excel. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment and has experience managing projects from raw data intake to finished reports. The analyst will work primarily within a SQL Server environment and must be capable of independently developing, maintaining, and optimizing reporting processes. A working knowledge of Python is a plus.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and maintain SQL Server-based reporting pipelines and dashboards to support business decision-making.
- Load, clean, and structure partner data files for integration into ISG’s SQL Server data warehouse.
- Maintain and monitor accounts receivable tracking by partner to identify underpayment trends and support dispute resolution.
- Track order and activation statuses across partners and analyze patterns impacting revenue and service delivery.
- Apply data modeling best practices and utilize relational database design to structure reporting datasets.
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Sales teams to understand challenges and develop data-driven solutions.
- Produce actionable insights from large, complex datasets using SQL and Excel.
- Translate business requirements into technical queries and reports that support operational KPIs.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and participate in special projects as needed.
- Uphold data quality and integrity through meticulous attention to detail.
Requirements:Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in finance, analytics, or data operations roles.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
- SQL expertise: Must have strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries, joins, subqueries, and stored procedures in a SQL Server environment.
- Advanced Excel skills: Proficient in Power Query, PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, conditional formatting, nested formulas, and data visualization using charts and slicers. Experience with VBA/macros is a plus.
- Experience building and optimizing reports and dashboards from SQL Server databases.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications for data processing and reporting.
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar data visualization tools is preferred.
- Confidence working with large, raw datasets and integrating data from multiple sources.
- Experience with Python for data analysis or automation is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
Other Information:
Physical Requirements
This is largely a sedentary role. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
