JOB DESCRIPTION
As an Entry-Level Chemist, you will conduct pilot testing techniques to evaluate the feasibility and performance of new chemical processes and products. You will prepare and maintain detailed documentation of experimental procedures, observations, and results, analyze data, and generate reports to support research and development projects. Collaboration with senior chemists and cross-functional teams will be essential to ensure accurate and efficient testing. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field, strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, experience with documentation and data management, a basic understanding of pilot testing techniques and laboratory procedures, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Required Skills & Experience
- Internship or associate or bachelor’s degree in chemistry preferred, but your open to no degree if candidate is qualified
- At least one year in an Analytical role involving testing of chemicals
o Manufacturing testing or end process testing
- Experience in medical manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or cannabis industries preferred but open to ANY manufacturing testing environment.
- Excellent documentation skills
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Preferred, not required
- QA/QC experience is a plus
- GC (Gas Chromatography) testing
- HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) testing
