The Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 accurately fills, counts, and packs medications. The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.
The Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 ensures inventory levels are adequate for dispensing by working with inventory supply team. Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.
Required Qualifications:
*Active and current Florida State Registered Pharmacy Technician license
*Able to lift up to 50 lbs
*Able to stand for 10 hours

Desired Qualifications:
*National Pharmacy Technician Certification, ExCPT or PTCB
*Specialty pharmacy experience
*Retail pharmacy experience
Current hours of operation: Monday through Thursday 6am to 6pm and Friday 7am to 4pm
Schedule will be 8-hour shifts Monday through Thursday 8:30am - 5pm and Fridays 7am - 3:30pm.
