CNC Machinist (Swiss Lathe Expert) – Aerospace & Aviation

Shift & Training Details
- Shift: 2nd Shift (5x8 schedule).
- Training: To ensure your success, you must be willing to train on the 1st shift before transitioning to your permanent 2nd shift schedule.
As a member of the machining department, you won't just "push buttons"—you will be the master of the process:
- Swiss Lathe Mastery: Perform full setups and operate advanced Swiss lathes (Star, Citizen, etc.).
- Technical Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex machining issues, including program editing, offset adjustments, and recommending process improvements.
- Quality Excellence: Conduct rigorous in-process inspections to ensure every part meets tight aerospace tolerances.
- Team Leadership: Serve as a resource and mentor for junior team members, assisting with technical hurdles and ensuring departmental success.
The "Must-Haves":

- REQUIRED: Proven experience setting up and operating Swiss lathes.
- Experience: 5+ years of CNC Machining experience is preferred.
- Blueprint Fluency: High degree of comfort interpreting complex engineering drawings.
- Precision Focus: Prior experience producing complex, close-tolerance parts.
- Technical Aptitude: Strong understanding of machine troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
- Communication: Fluency in English is required; ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
The "Pluses":

- Significant experience with multi-axis turning centers.
- Familiarity with 5S and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
- Conversational Spanish is a major plus!
