A well-established plaintiff-side personal injury firm in Miami is seeking a junior to mid-level associate attorney (1–3 years of experience) to join its growing litigation team. This role is ideal for an attorney who wants hands-on responsibility, meaningful client interaction, and real courtroom exposure early in their career.
The Role:
The associate will work closely with experienced trial attorneys on a wide range of personal injury matters, gaining experience across all phases of litigation. This includes direct involvement with clients, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support personal injury cases from intake through resolution
- Draft pleadings, discovery, and motions
- Prepare for and participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials
- Communicate directly with clients, medical providers, and experts
- Evaluate liability, damages, and case strategy
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of personal injury or civil litigation experience preferred
- Active Florida Bar license in good standing
- Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn trial skills
