Job Summary:
ARW Home is seeking a motivated Junior IT Engineer who is passionate about technology, eager to learn, and driven to make an impact. The ideal candidate thrives on problem-solving, adapts quickly to new tools, and brings fresh ideas for IT improvements. This role will play a key part in supporting and evolving our hybrid Active Directory and cloud-based infrastructure, while also contributing to ongoing projects and operational stability.
Responsibilities:
- Hybrid Identity Management: Support, maintain, and troubleshoot a hybrid Active Directory environment (on-premises AD + Azure Active Directory), including user lifecycle management, group policies, and synchronization (AAD Connect).
- Oversee local network operations and administer Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file/print services, patch management, and performance monitoring.
- Microsoft 365 Administration: Manage Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) with a focus on secure and seamless identity integration.
- Endpoint & Device Management: Support Microsoft Intune deployment, compliance policies, and endpoint security.
- PBX Administration: Provide support for our telephone and call center systems.
- Administer and support Google Workspace for the Marketing team, including user management, access control, and integration with productivity tools.
- Configure, manage, and support OpenVPN for secure remote access across the organization.
- Collaboration with Development Teams: Assist in deploying and supporting new tools and technologies adopted by the Software Development team, providing feedback and suggesting improvements.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 Administration and Endpoint Management.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Azure AD, ideally in hybrid deployments (user sync, password hash sync, conditional access, and identity governance).
- Familiarity with Group Policy Objects (GPOs), domain joins, and troubleshooting hybrid connectivity issues.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex IT challenges.
- Knowledge of cloud computing (AWS required; Azure or other cloud platforms a plus).
- Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, Python, or PHP.
- Excellent communication skills (chat, email, phone, and in-person).
- Customer-first mindset with a strong commitment to service delivery.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to evolving tools and business needs.
Job Location: Fully In-office in Boca Raton, FL
Pay: Up to $80,000 annually
