Position
Exotech is seeking a skilled Senior Industrial Mechanic to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment and machinery. Skilled in the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery using blueprints, electrical schematics, and mechanical diagrams, ensuring efficient operation of both electrical and mechanical components
Compensation, Benefits, Schedule, and Location
- Compensation: The salary range is $32.00 to $35.00 per hour + Generous Bonus
- Benefits: Generous paid time off, medical insurance, life insurance and short-term disability insurance is covered at 100% for the employee, vision, dental, and long-term disability insurance, and 401k employer matching up to 4% of salary
- Schedule: Regular work hours are generally 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with flexibility (may be required to work overtime as necessary to meet operational needs)
- Location: In-person.
Responsibilities:
- Performs preventive maintenance as scheduled in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS Limble)
- Create and close out work orders with data including, labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts used in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS Limble)
- Performs effectively as a team member, able to work well with others, open to receive and give feedback, and treats everyone with respect.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and work to quickly resolve the problem to ensure the timely placement back into production
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and regulations including wearing all Personal Protective Equipment and using tools and equipment according to proper safety requirements
- Work from prints, schematics, diagrams, or general instructions to diagnose and repair equipment
- Communicate with Director of Manufacturing Operations, supervisors, and other employees about status of equipment
- Evaluate the level of repair needed for building systems including air conditioning, plumbing, chemical plant machinery, etc.
- Coordinate installation of new equipment and repair activity with other members of the maintenance team as well outside subcontractors, as required
- Available to work extra hours when needed to reach production goals.

Experience and Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent related experience required
- 7 - 8 years of experience as an industrial mechanical or electrical maintenance technician; troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings
- Be able to work with other employees as a Team Player
- A demonstrated level of understanding that involves hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical dynamics is required
- Ability to work independently
- Metal fabrication with MIG, TIG, and welding process experience a must with Structural welding certification preferred
- Required to read and write English and follow verbal instructions, including drawings and OEM repair manuals and on-line resources
- Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment, be detailed oriented, and focused
- Flexibility and self-motivation are required
- Problem solver: analytical minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker
