Minimum Qualifications

  • Current dental hygienist license in Florida and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as required)
  • Strong understanding of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

  • Open to both new graduates and those with clinical experience
  • Familiarity with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and enhancing clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care
  • Clinical requirements as needed by the office

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform essential duties as required by the Office/Doctor with or without reasonable accommodation. Accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
  • Must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 45 pounds occasionally
  • Availability to participate in virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year
  • To ensure a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is mandatory for all new hires in dental office roles. This standard requirement must be completed before starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, with necessary guidance provided. This is not applicable in Florida and Tennessee.
