Position: Dermatology Physician Assistant
Location: Port St. Lucie, FL
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $120,000+ (commensurate with experience) + bonus structure
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as biopsies and blood work.
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans for various dermatologic conditions.
- Perform procedures, including biopsies and excisions, as appropriate.
- Educate patients on proper skincare, sun protection, and disease prevention.
- Collaborate closely with dermatologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in the EMR system.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
- Current NCCPA certification.
- Active Florida state license as a Physician Assistant.
- Minimum 2 years of dermatology experience required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented with proficiency in EMR systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative care team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity to perform dermatologic procedures.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs as needed.
