A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available in Vero Beach, FL, offering a contract position with typical hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, depending on the schools schedule. This role allows flexibility in caseload assignment, tailored to the candidates experience and preferences.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Collaborating with educators, families, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing counseling and intervention services to support student mental health and academic success
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to data-driven decision-making
- Maintaining accurate records and plying with district and state regulations
Desired qualifications:
- Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Appropriate state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience with assessments, diagnostics, and intervention strategies
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and school personnel
- Ability to manage a varied caseload with professionalism and adaptability
