Schedule: Full-Time | Nights | Rotating Weekends
Position Type: Permanent / Direct Hire

Compensation

  • Hourly Pay Range: $30.34 – $41.50/hour (based on experience)

Sign-On & Relocation

  • Sign-On Bonus: Available on a case-by-case basis

  • Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a high-acuity acute care hospital environment in Fort Pierce, Florida. This position offers exposure to a broad range of clinical areas, including critical care, emergency services, cardiovascular care, and surgical services. The role is ideal for respiratory therapists who thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity settings and prefer a night shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and document comprehensive respiratory assessments, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure

  • Administer respiratory therapies such as oxygen delivery systems, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy

  • Assist with placement, maintenance, and management of artificial airways

  • Initiate, monitor, and manage invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation

  • Evaluate patient response to therapies and intervene appropriately for adverse or unexpected outcomes

  • Assist with the transport of ventilator-dependent patients

  • Respond to emergency situations, ensuring airway stability and effective ventilation during resuscitation efforts

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality patient care

Required Qualifications

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential

  • Active Florida Respiratory Therapy license

  • Associate Degree from an accredited respiratory care program

  • BLS certification (required within 30 days of hire)

  • ACLS certification (required within 30 days of hire)

  • Strong clinical judgment with the ability to perform effectively in a high-acuity acute care environment
