Mission
To see the project to successful completion as either a working team leader or a working assistant to the Superintendent depending on the project assignment.
Expectations for This Role:
- Strong Work Ethic: Must be willing to arrive early, stay late when necessary, and take ownership of tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
- Flexibility & Commitment: Willing to work overtime as needed and adapt to changing priorities or schedules.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Able to manage multiple subcontractors daily, including leading morning meetings and conducting follow-ups throughout the day to keep work on track.
- Quality Control & Attention to Detail: Actively present on the jobsite, consistently monitoring progress, identifying issues early, and addressing work that does not meet standards to minimize rework.

Responsibilities
Safety
- be a competent person on the job site
- follow C-Sharpe General Safety Policy
- follow job specific safety plan in collaboration with Safety Director
- attend weekly safety meetings with project crew to discuss the weekly safety topic provided by the Safety Director
Lead the project crew
- follow and enforce all policies set forth in the C-Sharpe Employee Handbook with project crew
- communicate with the project crew on daily work
- train project crew on materials and methods used
- prompt discipline to project crew members when necessary & report to Superintendent
Project execution
- communicate with Superintendent or PM regarding any changes from the job plan regarding safety, project scope, material types/manufacturers, schedule, manpower needs, and materials
- monitor production and make necessary changes to meet the job plan
- review quality of work and prompt correction of quality issues, ensuring that the same issues do not happen again on the project
- perform initial clean up and review with Superintendent or PM to generate final punch items or any corrective work to be performed before the crew moves beyond a particular scope or area of the building
- apply and install all materials per the manufacturer’s technical data sheets
- correspond as necessary with the Superintendent or PM regarding daily activities
- confirm upcoming week plans with Superintendent or PM and generate daily reports in an accurate and timely manner
- monitor weather daily and schedule work activities accordingly
- accurately report crew hours
- maintain excellent jobsite appearance
- submit NOD to Superintendent or PM
- make list of necessary material, equipment, and tools needed to perform the work and obtain with help of Superintendent or PM
- maintain all tools and equipment in working order per the manufacturer’s recommendations and inform the Superintendent or PM of any significant equipment or tool malfunctions/damage
