Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Fort Lauderdale, FL, serving K-12 students. This opportunity offers both full-time and part-time contract roles for the upcoming school year, with multiple openings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services for K-12 caseloads
- Support students with a range of speech and language needs
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to promote student progress
- Supervise Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates as required
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP certification/license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Ability to provide supervision for CFY clinicians
- Experience working with K-12 student populations
Hours and Commitment:
- Full-time: 35 hours per week
- Part-time: 17 hours per week (option to combine two part-time roles to create a full-time schedule)
- Contract duration: Full school year
