Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available in Green Cove Springs, FL, serving students from kindergarten through 8th grade across four schools. This itinerant role involves supporting multiple school sites within the district and focuses on delivering specialized occupational therapy services to enhance student development and participation in academic activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students ages K-8 across four school locations.
  • Deliver make-up minutes and tailored interventions to meet individual student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of student goals, progress, and services.
  • Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements and school district policies.

Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Occupational Therapist license required.
  • Experience working with school-aged children in a K-8 educational setting preferred.
  • Ability to travel between multiple school sites to deliver itinerant services.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to student-centered care and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Location:Green Cove Springs, FL, with itinerant responsibilities across Cunningham Creek Elementary, Hickory Creek Elementary, Valley Ridge Academy, and Pine Island Academy.

This is a contract position beginning on January 5, 2025, through March 27, 2026, with a 12-week commitment and potential extension through the final six weeks of the school year. The role requires full-time availability at 37.5 hours per week and is strictly on-site.
