At Labcorp Diagnostics, we are seeking a passionate and skilled Board Certified/Board Eligible Dermatopathologist to join our dynamic team in Tampa, FL. Your Role:
As a Dermatopathologist, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and diagnosing dermatology specimens. Your expertise will ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and timely reporting. You will also provide valuable consultations to clients and staff, making a real difference in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual diagnostic evaluations and sign-out of dermatology specimens.
- Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety guidelines.
- Deliver accurate and timely evaluations of tested specimens.
- Maintain good laboratory practices (GLP) and adhere to applicable accrediting and regulatory standards.
- Provide expert consultations to clients and staff, whether in person, by phone, or electronically.
What We’re Looking For:
- Medical Degree from an accredited college/university.
- Florida Licensed Physician with Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic & Clinical Pathology.
- Subspecialty Training and Board Certification in Dermatopathology is required.
- Experience in high-volume hospital or large referral laboratory settings is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, efficient problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
Working Conditions:
Schedule: Monday - Friday (approx. 8 AM - 5 PM)
