We are looking for an experienced Yacht Management professional who wants to work for a growing company working on Multi Million dollar yachts.
2+ years of experience in detailing boats is required for the ideal candidate. The Detailer/Washer's (Marine Tech) main responsibilities include washing, waxing, polishing, and compounding the exteriors of boats to ensure they are in their pristine condition. It is essential for them to work efficiently, paying meticulous attention to detail, and prioritizing customer satisfaction.
Key Requirements:
- 2+ Years of experience working on boats
- Valid Driver Class E license
- Reliable transportation for commuting to various locations
- Strong communication skills for effective interactions
Responsibilities and Duties
- Clean and detail the interior and exterior of boats.
- Polish chrome and other metal surfaces.
- Apply waxes and polishes to the boat's exterior.
- Weekly maintenance and cleaning equipment.
- Keep organized daily.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
- Utilize our app to clock in, follow task lists, and provide comprehensive notes and pictures upon job completion
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Consistently and safely perform job functions in accordance with ADA, FMLA, OSHA, and other applicable federal, state, and local standards while meeting both qualitative and quantitative productivity requirements
- Ability to lift and transport up to 30 lbs
- Effective verbal communication skills and active listening abilities are a must- Carry out assigned duties as instructed by detail supervisor or team leader
- Quick learner, adept at absorbing new ideas and techniques, and consistently achieves results.
- Maintains a professional image and adheres to high standards in the workplace and with colleagues.
