LHH is seeking an experienced Probate Paralegal to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling probate matters from start to finish, along with general paralegal duties. Responsibilities:

Independently manage probate cases from initial filing to closing

Prepare and file probate pleadings, inventories, accountings, and related documents with the court

Maintain case files and monitor deadlines

Communicate with clients, court personnel, and other professionals involved in estate matters

Draft correspondence, legal documents, and notices
-
Assist attorneys in estate planning, guardianship, and trust administration as needed

Perform legal research and gather relevant case-related information
-
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
Qualifications:
-
Minimum 5+ years of probate experience required
-
Proficient with Florida probate rules and procedures
-
Strong knowledge of e-filing systems and court procedures in Florida
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal practice management software

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
-
Certification from an accredited paralegal program
-
Experience with estate planning and trust administration
-
Notary Public certification in Florida is a plus
