LHH is seeking an experienced Probate Paralegal to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling probate matters from start to finish, along with general paralegal duties. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated professional who values attention to detail and thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage probate cases from initial filing to closing

  • Prepare and file probate pleadings, inventories, accountings, and related documents with the court

  • Maintain case files and monitor deadlines

  • Communicate with clients, court personnel, and other professionals involved in estate matters

  • Draft correspondence, legal documents, and notices

  • Assist attorneys in estate planning, guardianship, and trust administration as needed

  • Perform legal research and gather relevant case-related information

  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of probate experience required

  • Proficient with Florida probate rules and procedures

  • Strong knowledge of e-filing systems and court procedures in Florida

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal practice management software

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred:

  • Certification from an accredited paralegal program

  • Experience with estate planning and trust administration

  • Notary Public certification in Florida is a plus

Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
