Job Summary: The HVAC Product Specialist (Inside Sales Specialist) of Southern Marine Supply is responsible for ensuring excellent customer service and contributing to the store's goals and growth. This role requires product expertise and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service and Sales
· Deliver friendly, professional, expert knowledge and timely service to all customers.
· Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service and HVAC product knowledge.
· Supports strategies to increase HVAC product sales and optimize profitability.
· Use CRM system to support customer relationships and sales opportunities.
· Be directly responsible for customer service related to HVAC products, handling inquiries, complaints, and quickly providing results-oriented solutions.
Category Coordination
· Execute programs and procedures that drive HVAC sales and customer engagement.
· Ensure the HVAC category represents the highest expression of the products and services provided.
· Collaborate across sister companies to enhance and coordinate HVAC product offerings.
· Consult on HVAC category inventory management
Collaboration and Teamwork
· Work closely with the sales team to achieve overall company sales goals.
· Support cross-functional teams in delivering seamless customer experience.
Compliance and Standards
· Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
· Implement best practices for customer service.
Requirements:
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· 3+ years of experience in HVAC sales or HVAC service
· Excellent customer service skills and product knowledge.
· Organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to source products quickly and coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in the marine industry or related sectors.
· Experience with marine HVAC and Dometic product line
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
· This is a full-time, in-office position | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
· Ability to lift 15 pounds.
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or working on a computer.
