We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to service, troubleshoot, program, test, and inspect fire alarm and life safety systems. This is a field-based role ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys diagnosing system issues, working directly with customers, and supporting mission-critical fire and low-voltage systems. Responsibilities include system repairs, component replacement, inspections, documentation, and coordination with dispatch and management to complete service calls efficiently. Experience with security systems such as access control, CCTV, and burglar alarms is a plus.
Skills:
• Service, troubleshooting, testing, and inspection of fire alarm systems
• Knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, and applicable local building codes
• Panel programming and device replacement (panels, AV devices, initiating devices)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Customer service and professional communication
• Field service operations and work order documentation
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls
• Basic computer/tablet proficiency
• Experience with CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems (preferred)
• Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs
