A skilled Surgical Technologist with experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures is essential for a contract assignment in Tampa, FL. This role requires a dedicated professional to work in a dynamic surgical environment, supporting cardiovascular surgical teams by preparing and managing operating rooms and equipment to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms and cardiovascular surgical instruments for procedures
- Assist surgeons and nursing staff during cardiovascular surgeries
- Maintain sterile technique throughout all stages of surgical interventions
- Participate in pre-shift huddles to coordinate daily surgical activities
- Float to other areas when appropriate based on skill set
- Respond to on-call duties as scheduled, including weeknights and weekends
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist in a CVOR setting
- Current BLS certification
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA
- Ability to work on-call schedules including two weeknights and one weekend per month
- Flexibility to float to other departments or areas as required

Schedule:
- 10-hour shifts

Assignment Details:
