About the Position


As a Reformer Pilates Instructor with Grey Oaks, you will have the opportunity to lead group and private classes, focusing on Reformer Pilates. Our goal is to provide safe, effective, and engaging fitness experience for clients of all levels. You will be responsible for creating customized workout routines, offering modifications for different abilities, and providing hands-on guidance to help clients improve their technique.


This is position reports to the Director of Wellness

Considered one of the premier Country Clubs in Florida, Grey Oaks opened in 1993 and encompasses the Grey Oaks and Estuary communities, along with 54 holes of championship golf. The Club’s facilities include a 63,000-square-foot east clubhouse, 12,000-square-foot golf pro shop, golf performance center, 30,000-square-foot wellness center, sports center, and the pool café, a 22,000-square-foot complex with indoor and outdoor dining overlooking an expansive resort-style pool with a wading entrance, waterfall, and lap lanes. You are an experienced professional with a passion for wellness programs and an eagerness to work with members/guests on their goals. Your enthusiasm shows to all who meet you. Requirements:

Primary Responsibilities


  • Teach dynamic, engaging, and effective Reformer Pilates classes to individuals and small groups.
  • Develop and lead structured class programs that cater to clients of various fitness levels, from beginners to advanced.
  • Provide hands-on corrections, adjustments, and cues to ensure proper form and technique.
  • Create a positive and motivating environment for clients, fostering a sense of community and inclusivity
  • Assess clients’ abilities and progress, providing personalized guidance and recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure a safe and clean studio environment, maintaining equipment and class space.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Reformer Pilates trends, techniques, and certifications to continue delivering high-quality instruction.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service, building relationships with clients to encourage retention and referrals.
  • Observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly and ensures that we provide a safe workplace for our team.
  • All other duties as assigned by management.


Education/Experience


  • Certified Reformer Pilates Instructor from a reputable organization.
  • Previous teaching experience in Reformer Pilates preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Reformer Pilates principles, anatomy, and biomechanics.
  • Ability to modify exercises to accommodate clients with varying abilities and injuries.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for fitness and wellness, with a strong desire to help others achieve their goals.
  • CPR/AED certification is required
