We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Plumbing Supervisor with a strong
background in managing residential and commercial re-pipe, water line, drain line projects
and sales experience. The ideal candidate will oversee plumbing crews, coordinate job
schedules, manage materials and permits, and ensure that all work is completed on time,
within budget, and up to code. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and
a comprehensive understanding of construction management processes. This role
requires effective project coordination, ensuring that all aspects of the project align with
timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The Plumbing Supervisor will utilize various
construction management software tools to facilitate communication and project tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
· Project Oversight: Manage plumbing projects from start to finish, including
residential and commercial re-piping and mainline drain jobs.
· Job Scheduling: Coordinate labor, materials, inspections, and subcontractors to
ensure timely project execution.
· Field Management: Conduct on-site visits to monitor work quality, job progress, and
ensure adherence to plans and code requirements.
· Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers,
providing updates, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction.
· Permits & Inspections: Ensure all permits are pulled and inspections are scheduled
and passed as required by local jurisdictions.
· Budget Management: Maintain control over project budgets, manage change orders,
and track job costs and labor hours.
· Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and make sure all work complies
with plumbing codes and OSHA regulations.
· Documentation: Maintain organized records including job notes, photos, materials
used, and final punch lists.
Qualifications:
· Experience: Minimum 5 years in the plumbing industry with at least 2 years of
experience managing re-pipe and drain line projects.· Licenses: Journeyman or Master Plumbing License (preferred but not required).
· Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and materials used
in copper, PEX, CPVC, and cast iron/ABS re-piping and drain line replacements.
· Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously and
meet deadlines.
· Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with
clients, crews, and inspectors.
· Tech Savvy: Familiarity with project management tools, scheduling software, and
digital documentation.
