Devonear, Inc. is a mission-driven healthcare organization committed to advancing behavioral and preventative health services in underserved communities. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Psych NP) to join our growing team.
Position Summary:
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide direct psychiatric care to a diverse patient population, including both children and adults. The ideal candidate is experienced, self-motivated, and passionate about delivering high-quality mental health services within a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Bilingual providers and those with experience working with children are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children and adults
- Provide ongoing monthly medication management
- Write and manage prescriptions following clinical guidelines
- Maintain clear, timely, and accurate documentation in the EHR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to support integrated care delivery
- Participate in cross-training to support the implementation of biomedical HIV prevention
tools (e.g., PrEP and nPEP)
Requirements:
- Active Florida APRN license with a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- Active DEA number and Medicaid provider number (required)
- Experience working with both children and adults (preferred)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
- Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic healthcare setting
