General Description:
Provide monitoring, management, and operational support of LAN/WAN network architecture, including network administration tasks involving Cisco and FortiNet switching and firewalling infrastructure; enterprise wireless systems utilizing 802.1X authentication; Microsoft 365; power management and conditioning systems; site-to-site and remote access VPNs; VoIP; physical and virtual server environments, including Hyper-V; Windows and Linux server administration, including new server builds, patching, and general system administration; server backup and recovery operations using Veeam; patch management and endpoint lifecycle management using SCCM and Intune; Active Directory; Group Policy; workstations; and other networked endpoints (e.g., codecs, cameras). Demonstrates appropriate solutions to errors or operational issues and assists with the support and execution of disaster recovery plans.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, computer, engineering, or a closely related field. Additional relevant experience may substitute for the recommended educational level on a year-for-year basis.
Experience:
Three years of progressively responsible experience in Information Systems with work experience in software and server administration, network administration, and desktop administration, or any satisfactory combination of equivalent training and experience. Additional relevant education may substitute for the recommended experience on a year-for-year basis.
Certification and Special Requirements:
Network+ or CCNA certification required. Valid Florida State Driver’s License required.
