GENERAL FUNCTION: Responsible for teaching the YMCA Swim Program to children and adults. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Instructs swimming lessons in accordance with YMCA guidelines having prepared lesson plans accordingly.

· Builds effective, authentic relationships with students and parents/guardians.

· Maintains records as required (attendance, progress reports, etc.)

· Follows all YMCA policies, rules, regulations and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures.

· Attends staff meetings and trainings as scheduled.

· Be safety conscious at all times.

· Make swimming fun.
