Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) to support K-12 students across multiple schools in the Orlando, FL area. This role serves a public school district with elementary, middle, and high school levels, offering both full-time and part-time opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Manage caseloads that may require itinerant service delivery for part-time roles
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, deliver therapy, and track student progress in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and comply with credentialing requirements
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or related field
- Valid FL State License and ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred; 0-10+ years in school settings considered
- Ability to work on-site with some potential for hybrid scheduling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
Position Details:
- Start Date: ASAP with assignments through May 29, 2026
- Hours: Full-Time (35 hours/week) and Part-Time (approximately 25 hours/week) openings available
- Roles include full-time positions covering maternity leave and part-time roles spanning multiple schools
- Some part-time roles may require traveling between assigned schools
