Licensure & Certification
- Active and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the State of Florida
- Current NCCPA certification
- Current BLS certification
- Eligible for insurance credentialing with commercial payers and Medicare
Clinical Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or Primary Care
- Comfortable independently evaluating and treating adult and pediatric patients
- Experience managing common urgent care presentations including:

- Upper respiratory infections, flu, COVID, and sinusitis
- Minor injuries, lacerations, sprains, and fractures
- Basic wound care and suturing, I&D, etc
- Musculoskeletal complaints
- GI and GU complaints
- Ability to interpret X-rays, EKGs, and basic lab results
- Familiarity with occupational health visits (DOT physicals, work injuries, drug screens) is a plus
Clinical Skills & Workflow
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong clinical judgment and sound decision-making skills
- Efficient documentation skills within an EMR system
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong focus on patient safety, quality care, and throughput
Professional & Team Expectations
- Excellent bedside manner and patient communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with medical assistants, front desk staff, and leadership
- Dependable, punctual, and flexible with per diem scheduling needs
- Maintains professionalism and compliance with clinic policies and HIPAA standards
Schedule & Availability
- Per diem position with weekday, weekend, and/or holiday availability
- Willingness to cover shifts as needed based on clinic demand
