About the Role
Are you a "people person" with a deep understanding of cars? We are looking for an experienced Service Consultant to be the primary point of contact for our valued customers. You will play a critical role in our shop’s success by building trust with clients and ensuring our technicians have the clear information they need to succeed.
What You’ll Do
- Client Relations: Greet customers, listen to their concerns, and perform vehicle "walk-arounds" to document needs.
- Repair Coordination: Act as the liaison between the customer and the Master Techs; keep the workflow moving smoothly.
- Service Advising: Educate customers on their vehicle’s health and recommend preventative maintenance that keeps them safe on the road.
- Accountability: Manage repair orders from start to finish, ensuring accurate billing and timely vehicle delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a service advisor or consultant role (dealership or high-volume independent shop preferred).
- Team Player: You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are willing to help your teammates during the "morning rush."
- Work Ethic: High integrity and a "get it done" attitude. You take ownership of your mistakes and pride in your successes.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to explain technical repairs to non-technical people.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with Shop Management Software (e.g., CDK, Reynolds, or Tekmetric).
Why Join Our Team?
- High Earning Potential: Base pay plus a performance-based commission structure.
- Stable Environment: We have a loyal customer base and a steady flow of work.
- Professionalism: Work alongside Master Technicians in a clean, organized shop.
