Trusts & Estates (T&E) Legal Assistant (Direct Placement)
Location: 100% In-Office – Tampa, FL
Pay Rate: $23–$35/hour (Based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Support Structure: Assist 2–3 attorneys
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Trusts & Estates Legal Assistant to support our attorneys in estate planning, trust administration, and related legal matters. This role is ideal for a candidate who is organized, professional, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
This is a direct placement opportunity.
What You’ll Do
- Provide administrative and legal support to 2–3 attorneys specializing in Trusts & Estates
- Draft and prepare correspondence, estate planning documents, probate forms, and other legal documents
- Maintain organized client files and case management systems
- Schedule appointments, manage attorney calendars, and coordinate meetings
- Assist with estate planning, trust administration, and court filings
- Interact professionally with clients, courts, and third parties
- Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive client information
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent Trusts & Estates legal assistant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Dependable, professional, and comfortable working 100% in-office
Preferred (But Not Required)
- Familiarity with probate or trust accounting software
- Experience assisting multiple attorneys simultaneously
