Medical Technologist / Medical Lab Scientist (Sign on and relocation available)
Location: Brooksville, FL and Panama City, FL
Schedule: Full-Time | Day & Night Shifts Available (Rotating Weekends)
Salary Range: $27.09 – $32.51 – $37.92 (based on experience)
Bonuses: Sign on bonus upto $10k and relocation assistance available
On-Call Pay: $2.00/hour
Night Shift Differential: $2.50/hour
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Medical Technologist / Medical Lab Scientist to join a high-performing hospital laboratory. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who can work independently, deliver accurate results, and support quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and STAT clinical laboratory testing across assigned departments
- Ensure accurate, timely, and reliable test results following laboratory protocols
- Apply independent judgment and critical thinking in all testing procedures
- Maintain regulatory compliance and laboratory documentation
- Support quality, safety, and patient care initiatives
- Participate in on-call coverage as required
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Medical Technologist / Medical Lab Scientist
- Nationally recognized certification (ASCP or equivalent preferred)
- Active state licensure (if applicable)
- Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
