Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide on-site services for students in grades K-5 within a K-12 school setting in Sanford, FL. This contract role spans the current school year and offers an engaging opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners communication skills.
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders among students. Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and execute intervention strategies will be key components of the role. Maintaining detailed records and progress reports to ensure student growth and compliance with regulations is also required.
Key qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid Florida license as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience working with children in K-5 educational settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective individualized treatment plans
- Commitment to collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
