Job DescriptionAttorney - Personal Injury
An established firm based in Miami with over 10 years in practice is seeking Personal Injury Attorneys to join their team onsite. Attorneys play a pivotal role in managing the entire case-handling process, overseeing tasks from initial filing through to verdict. Their responsibilities include handling serious and catastrophic personal injury cases. Attorneys ensure top shelf service by supervising teams that help you only do the work that attorneys should do.
Key Responsibilities
-Screening potential litigation clients, interviewing clients and witnesses, managing case files and negotiating with insurance companies.
-Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents, as well as preparing for and participating in mediations.
-Interviewing and deposing witnesses, and preparing clients for depositions.
-Provide counsel to clients, and assistance at trial.
-They will assist with trial preparation and representation as needed and collaborate closely with supervising attorneys to ensure seamless case management and results-driven litigation.
Candidates will have experience with personal injury matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while representing clients in litigation and advisory matters- with Senior Attorney's needing extensive experience. Qualifications
-All candidates must hold a Juris Doctor degree and be licensed to practice law in Florida or New York. -The ideal Litigation and/or Pre-Litigation Associate candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience handling personal injury litigation. -The ideal Senior Trial Attorney candidate will have at least 10+ years of experience handling personal injury litigation and have extensive First Chair Trial experience. -Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex cases from inception to resolution are essential. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, along with a commitment to client service and teamwork.
Benefits
-Associate Attorney Salary range: $95,000-$160,000, contingent on experience.-Senior Trial Attorney Salary range: The Senior will be highly compensated and salary discussions would be discussed directly with the Managing Partner. Senior Attorneys are also able to access Draws.-Highly competitive and lucrative Bonus/Commissions Program
