Our client, a premier national law firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its dynamic and high-performing Miami office. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of law firm litigation experience and a strong understanding of courtroom procedures, discovery processes, and trial support.

Key Responsibilities

Support attorneys in all phases of litigation—from case inception through trial and post-trial appeals

Conduct in-depth legal and factual research using tools such as Westlaw and Lexis

Manage large-scale discovery, including ESI, document review coordination, and production tracking

Draft, proofread, and file litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery responses

Prepare deposition materials, expert witness binders, and trial exhibits
-
Oversee trial logistics, including notebook creation, exhibit management, and courtroom coordination
-
Perform detailed cite-checking, Bluebooking, and ensure filings comply with federal and Florida state procedural rules

File documents electronically using CM/ECF (Federal) and the Florida e-Filing Portal

Assist with post-trial filings, appeals, and maintain organized, updated case files

Diligently track billable time and assist with overflow projects and departmental needs
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and/or ABA-approved paralegal certificate required

Minimum 5 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting

Bankruptcy litigation experience highly preferred

Proficient in:

Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Relativity, Concordance, LAW PreDiscovery, Best Case

Document management systems (e.g., iManage) a plus

Strong cite-checking, formatting, and proofreading abilities

Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking skills

Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred
