Responsibilities:
• Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and support matters.
• Provide legal counsel and draft documents for estate planning, such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
• Manage probate and guardianship proceedings, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
• Handle civil litigation cases, including contract disputes, from initial filing to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and prepare motions, briefs, and other court filings.
• Oversee discovery processes, including interrogatories, depositions, and document reviews.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop effective case strategies.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements to resolve disputes efficiently.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
• Represent clients in court hearings and trials as needed.
• Must hold a valid license to practice law in the state of Florida.
• At least 1 year of experience in family law, estate planning, or civil litigation preferred.
• Strong ability to draft legal motions, briefs, and other court documents.
• Proficiency in conducting discovery processes and legal research.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Willingness to represent clients in court proceedings when necessary.
