• Job Title: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)\n
• Location: Vero Beach, FL 32960 (Treasure Coast)\n
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks\n
• Start Date: December 9, 2025\n
• End Date: March 10, 2026\n
• Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 - 07:30), 3 shifts/week\n
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1350 - $1380\n
• Healthcare Setting: Short Term Acute Care, Teaching Hospital\n
• Unit: Overflow (Med/Telemetry)\n
• Charting System: EPIC\n
• Parking: Free in any unrestricted space\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active RN license (pending license accepted)\n
• Minimum 18 months recent Telemetry/Acute Care RN experience (2 years preferred)\n
• Experience with Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Cardiac Telemetry\n
• Proficient in managing vasoactive drips and stroke patients\n
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications\n
• NIHSS certification (must obtain prior to start)\n
• Ability to float to all 3 hospitals within 20 miles as needed\n
• Two professional references from recent managers or supervisors in specialty\n
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)\n
• All RTO (Requested Time Off) must be included at time of submission\n

\n\nRN Responsibilities – Clinical Support\n

\n
• Deliver high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry Overflow patients\n
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; manage dysrhythmias\n
• Administer cardiac drips (no titration), blood products, and oxygen therapy\n
• Care for stroke patients and those requiring non-invasive airway management\n
• Perform central and peripheral line care and management\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes\n
• Accurately document care using EPIC charting system\n
• Float to other units within scope as needed\n
• Complete time-sensitive modules prior to assignment start\n
