We're seeking Estimators and Senior Estimators to prepare and manage cost estimates for large-scale commercial concrete projects, ensuring competitive bids and successful project delivery. What You'll Do
- Prepare accurate time, cost, and labor estimates for assigned projects
- Perform quantity take-offs and pricing using estimating software
- Identify and evaluate vendors and subcontractors for best value
- Assemble bid proposals and ensure timely submission
- Follow up with clients to overcome obstacles and close deals
- For Senior Estimator:
- Lead large-dollar bid proposals and manage junior estimators
- Negotiate with clients and oversee transition from pre-construction to operations
- Provide cost estimate support during construction
What We're Looking For
- Education & Experience:
- Estimator: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Accounting, or related field and 3+ years of estimating experience
- Senior Estimator: Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of estimating experience, including leadership responsibilities
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience considered
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and apply safety/OSHA requirements
