Your Mission:
Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product until they are completed to acceptance test procedures. The assembler performs repetitive workstation or line-assembly operations
Main Activities
- Accurately assembling products at a fast pace on a single flow assembly line.
- Performs any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools
- Reading written instructions; labeling product and packages.
- Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules.
- Cross-trained on different products lines.
- Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Operates any equipment needed to perform job.
- Performs related duties as needed by supervision.
- Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
Your Competencies:
- Ability to frequently sit, stand or walk an entire shift.
- Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools to perform one or more repetitive assembly operation to produce small, lightweight medical products.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, repetitively, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Proficient understanding of written and verbal English
- Strong attention to details
- Computer skills (basic).
- Spanish speaker preferred
Your Education and Experience:
- High School preferred.
- One year or more of experience in a fast-paced production or assembly position, preferred.
