Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. The position involves assembling components of construction heavy equipment machinery using hand and power tools. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to read assembly manuals and follow procedures accurately. The work is conducted in an overhead indoor/outdoor environment, and you will be part of a team-oriented culture within the assembly department.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components of construction heavy equipment machinery using hand and power tools.
- Read and utilize measuring tools, specifically measuring tape, to ensure precision.
- Interpret and follow assembly manuals and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members in the assembly department.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Experience in mechanical assembly and general labor.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of work instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in using impact drills, sockets, and ratchets.
- Possession of own basic tool set.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Work Environment
The work environment is an indoor/outdoor overhead bay equipped with overhead cranes for transporting components. You will use hand and power tools to assemble and construct heavy machinery related to construction, crushing, and mining. The environment is non-climate-controlled, requiring adaptability to varying temperatures.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakeland, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
