A nursing opportunity is available for an experienced Operating Room RN to provide specialized perioperative care across multiple surgical specialties. This contract role involves working closely with surgical teams to deliver exceptional patient support throughout the surgical process.
Responsibilities include anticipating and planning patient care needs in the operating room, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists, ensuring availability of supplies, maintaining timely case flow, assisting during surgeries, updating physician preference information, and supervising personnel involved in patient care. The role requires adherence to professional nursing standards, hospital policies, and regulatory guidelines.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years experience in operating room nursing with strength in orthopedic, neurological, robotic, ENT, general surgery, and urology cases
- Certification in ACLS, BLS, and PALS
- Experience with Cerner electronic health records is mandatory
- CNOR certification is preferred
- Ability to float between different campus locations as needed

Schedule:
- Dayshift hours from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
