One of South Florida’s largest and well-respected landscape development companies is looking for a reliable, knowledgeable and driven Superintendent to join the team.
The candidate will oversee job sites when operational, which includes creation of and establishing schedules in accordance with work orders while ensuring successful completion of the work by the crew assigned. Ensure timely operations field work crew requirements by coordinating the procurement/logistics of materials and equipment to mobilize the site. Generate daily reports for presentation to management and ensure. Projects include landscaping, irrigation, hardscape, and other site-related work requiring managing both subcontractors and Superior crews.

Responsibilities include:
•Creation of schedules of project tasks and scope. Develop detailed schedules on a weekly basis.
•Preconstruction submittals and planning.
•Confirm that all construction services are provided according to contract documentation, specifications and drawings, within budget, and on schedule.
•Manage labor force & subcontractors to ensure labor budgets are in line. Onsite supervise, both direct crews as well as subcontractors to ensure work is completed as per schedule & budget.
•Setup MOT as needed at sites. Ensure safety and focus on accident prevention.
•Document daily construction activities through the provision of Daily reports, including pictures of site work progress as well as all matters of concern that need address.
•Order materials as needed through the company Procurement Manager while following company procurement procedures.
•Certify completion of project sitework and all punch list items for timely project turnover.•Represent the company, interface and cultivate relationships with clients, architects, general contractors and subcontractors as needed.
•Communicate effectively both written and orally.
•Other essential responsibilities, as necessary.

Job Requirements Skills/Qualifications:
•MINIMUM 2-5 years construction/landscaping superintendent experience required.
•Experience and detailed knowledge in the landscaping industry a plus.
•FDOT Highway construction operations and documentation knowledge is important.
•Bilingual Spanish and English required.
•MOT intermediate certification required. (Superior will provide this training if required)
•Operator and safety certifications are a plus.
•Travel within the state is required for this position.
•Must have a clean driving record and be available to travel.
•Must have email communication skills and some computer software skills.
•Experience with volume project turnaround
