Position Summary:
The Director of Data Operations & AI will lead the organization’s data infrastructure, analytics, and AI initiatives. This role combines operational excellence with innovation, ensuring reliable data delivery while driving advanced analytics and AI adoption. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader who can manage teams, optimize data systems, and deliver actionable insights.
- Data Governance
o Oversee data architecture, pipelines, and workflows with a strong focus on Azure and Microsoft Fabric environments.
o Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Analytics & AI Strategy
o Develop and implement AI/ML solutions for predictive analytics, automation, and personalization.
o Drive adoption of advanced analytics tools and frameworks across the organization.
- Team Leadership
o Manage and mentor data engineers, analysts, and AI specialists.
o Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Partner with business units to identify data-driven opportunities and deliver actionable insights.
o Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Technology Oversight
o Optimize data infrastructure for scalability and performance.
o Stay ahead of emerging technologies in AI, data engineering, and analytics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data operations, analytics, or AI, with at least 3 years in leadership roles.
- Expertise in Azure cloud services, Microsoft Fabric, and modern data architectures.
- Strong understanding of machine learning, data governance, and compliance frameworks.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, ) and data platforms (Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure).
- Familiarity with orchestration tools and automation for data workflows.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
