Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time Occupational Therapist role supports K-12 students across multiple school sites within the St. Johns County School District. The position is primarily itinerant, providing therapy services to students on a medical leave coverage basis from January 8, 2025, through June 1, 2026.
Located in the St. Augustine, Florida area, this opportunity requires an active Florida Department of Health Occupational Therapy license and a commitment to delivering high-quality pediatric occupational therapy services in a school environment. The caseload will be confirmed but involves supporting children and adolescents from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their educational needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to implement and adjust therapy goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports aligned with school district policies
- Travel between multiple school sites to provide therapy services as part of an itinerant role
Qualifications:
- Valid and active Florida DOH Occupational Therapy license required
- Experience working in school-based occupational therapy settings preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to manage an itinerant caseload across multiple locations
