The Service Porter is responsible for supporting day-to-day dealership operations by maintaining vehicle flow, ensuring lot organization, and assisting with customer service. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a positive customer experience and smooth service lane operations.
Requirements:
- Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner upon arrival.
- Move and park vehicles in the service lot efficiently and safely.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of service lanes and parking areas.
- Retrieve vehicles for customers promptly upon service completion.
- Assist technicians and advisors with moving vehicles into service bays.
- Wash and vacuum vehicles as needed.
- Ensure vehicles are locked and keys are secured during storage.
- Support dealership staff with additional tasks as requested (e.g., running errands, assisting with inventory checks).
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
- Strong work ethic and a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to stand, walk, and be outdoors for extended periods of time in various weather conditions.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
