The Spa Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of the Opal Spa at the Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa. This includes ensuring adherence to service standards, delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving revenue growth, enhancing the culture of the Spa and effective management of a team of spa professionals. The Spa Director plays a vital role in upholding the standards of the resort and ensuring consistent quality in this dynamic atmosphere.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Spa, ensuring compliance with service standards, policies and procedures.
- Deliver exceptional experiences, ensuring guests receive the highest level of care and attention.
- Drive revenue growth and achieve financial targets through effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Manage and lead a team of spa professionals, including hiring, training, scheduling and performance management.
- Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment, fostering teamwork and professional development.
- Implement strategies to increase seasonal awareness, and attract new and repeat clients.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the Spa's financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies for growth.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene in accordance with the Spa’s guidelines and local regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the Spa remains competitive and innovative.
- Implement training and development programs to ensure consistent service delivery and adherence to service standards.
- Manage budgets, financial reporting, and inventories for the spa location.
- Act as a brand ambassador by representing the spa brand in a professional and positive manner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field and/or Advanced certifications in spa management are required.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in spa management, preferably within a corporate branded spa or luxury hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth, achieve financial targets and operate within budgeted guidelines.
- In-depth knowledge of spa operations, customer service, and industry trends.
- Ability to effectively manage and inspire a diverse team of spa professionals.
- Exceptional customer service with a focus on delivering memorable guest experiences.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Flexibility to work outside regular office hours and travel occasionally, as required.
- Proficiency in spa management software and technology.
Salary:
