Overview
A Heavy Equipment Operator plays a vital role in preparing construction sites for development. This position supports the groundwork and infrastructure that make every project possible — from clearing and grading to installing drainage and utilities. Heavy Equipment Operators ensure that each job site is safe, stable, and ready for the next phase of construction.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site preparation, excavation, grading, and drainage work
• Operate the following:
• • Bulldozer (GPS preferred)
  • Excavator
  • Skid Steer
  • Backhoe
  • Tractor
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures
• Support site supervisors and foremen to meet project goals

Qualifications

• Heavy equipment operator experience necessary
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential

Work Schedule

• Full-time position, approximately 45-50 hours per week
• Overtime and Saturdays as necessary
• Overtime pay after 40 hours
