Job DescriptionPosition Summary:
The role of Production Labor II includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Product manufacturing
- Solution mixing aka compounding
- Product labelling
- Product blistering and assembly
- Packaging assembly, labelling, and inspection
- Product sorting and boxing
- Cleaning
- Quality Control and Assurance
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience is required - personal care, cosmetics, or food and beverage manufacturing is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience with mixing equipment, run pumps, blenders, sanitary piping (tri-clamp pipes), etc.
- Must be able to stand for entirety of shift.
- Must be able to tolerate exposure to heat and/or cold
- Cleanliness (hygiene/clothing/frequent hand sanitizing)
- Nails/hands must be kept clean. Artificial nails are not permitted.
- Protective clothing (hair net/mouth guard/lab coat)
- Must be punctual and able to remain for the duration of shift
- Walk and stand for extended periods, walk and reach with hands or arms. Lift or carry up to 50 pounds may be required.
- Must be able to communicate task status, concerns regarding health, injuries, work and process quality
Advancement Opportunities:Production Labor Coordinator (Shift Lead)
- The above role (Compounder II) with added Supervisory responsibilities.
- Supervising team under the direction of the Production management team
- Liaising between I and II employees and other departments’ management teams
Compensation:
- Hourly wage – $20-$25 per hour
- Commensurate with experience and responsibilities
