How You Will Make an Impact

  • Facilities Technician will perform repair and preventative maintenance, which may include coordinating the servicing of company vehicles, buildings, grounds and off-site properties
  • Complete daily walk through of premises and surroundings to note conditions and report to management
  • Facilities Technician will report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management
  • Perform various daily duties which may include some janitorial services
  • Facilities Technician will assist in light construction projects such as drywall repairs, painting, installation of fixtures, etc.
  • Perform installations and repairs within area of expertise including plumbing and carpentry in accordance to accepted codes
  • Facilities Technician will develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team members to reach common goals
  • Respond appropriately to internal requests and urgent situations that arise

What You Bring to the Table

  • High School Diploma or equivalent diploma required
  • 2-5 years of drywall installation and repair, painting, furniture handling and facilities experience is required
  • 2-3 years of experience working in manufacturing, distribution, construction and/or hospitality industry strongly preferred
  • Experience operating general maintenance equipment including but not limited to: hand tools, ladders, forklift, and required safety equipment
  • Forklift certified a plus
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus but English is required.
  • Verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
