We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pest Control Technician to join our team. The technician will be responsible for inspecting customer premises, identifying pest problems, and implementing effective treatment solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspection and Assessment:
• Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations and assess the level of infestation.
• Determine the type of pests and possible entry points.
• Treatment Application:
• Select and apply appropriate pest control treatments such as products, traps, and preventive measures.
• Use specialized equipment and follow safety protocols to ensure the effective application of treatments.
• Customer Interaction:
• Communicate findings and recommended treatment plans to customers.
• Provide education on pest prevention methods and safety measures.
• Address customer questions and concerns in a professional manner.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, treatments, and follow-up visits.
• Submit reports as required by company policies or regulatory agencies.
• Maintenance of Equipment:
• Ensure all pest control equipment is clean, functional, and stored properly.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and vehicles used in the job.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Adhere to company policies, local regulations, and industry standards regarding pest control procedures.
• Use and store products in compliance with safety guidelines.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Qualifications

• Education and Licensing:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Experience:
• Prior experience in pest control is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
• Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces, attics, basements, and outdoor areas.
• Tolerance for exposure to pests and pest control products

Work Schedule

• Full-time position.
• Tuesday-Saturday (Off Sundays & Monday).
