Job DescriptionPosition Title: Adjunct Faculty – Applied Behavior Analysis (Online)


Type: Part-Time

Albizu University is seeking qualified applicants for adjunct faculty positions to teach ABAI verified sequence courses. The selected candidate is expected to teach in the Fall 2023 or Spring 2024 terms

Responsibilities:

  1. Teach behavior analytic courses that are part of the ABA Certificate Program.
  2. Prepares course syllabi and materials, including lectures and exams.
  3. Report course syllabi changes to the Verified Course Sequence (VCS) Coordinator
  4. Submits student grades to the Registrar’s Office by deadline.
  5. Performs student advisement.
  6. Participates in accreditation process.
  7. Monitors students needing remediation.
  8. Participates in faculty meetings.
  9. Conducts mid-term and final student evaluations twice a term.
  10. Submits required academic reports and forms, in a timely and accurate manner.
  11. Participates in institutional or campus meetings and trainings as appropriate.


Required Qualifications:

Doctoral degree (Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D,) in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Education required.

Applicant must hold an active BCBA or BCBA-D credential and will be expected to maintain it through employment if hired.

Applicant must have prior experience teaching or training experience.
