Position Overview
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support our project management team in the successful execution of construction projects. The ideal candidate will assist in coordinating project activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining project schedules, particularly in mid-rise, high-rise, and residential construction environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
- Maintain project documentation, including contracts, reports, and schedules, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accessible.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays that may arise.
- Assist in managing project budgets and resources, ensuring cost-effective practices are followed.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
- Support communication between team members and project stakeholders to ensure project objectives are understood and met.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in construction project management or related roles, preferably in commercial and residential projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
